It`s All In The Details Events contacted me to come up with some centerpieces for a photo shoot they wanted to have. We did a series of four different themes. The first one up is the ever popular romantic theme. Round shapes, delicate flowers and soft color palette all combined to create a dramatic yet soft and romantic look.

White on white photo shoot

White on white is a classic wedding color palette and for good reason. Done correctly it can be warm and inviting and timelessly elegant. This centerpiece features a trio of vases each holding a sphere of white, off white or ivory flowers. We used Hydrangea, Roses and Lisianthus to create this simple classic look.

Bright and fun photo shoot

Hot pink and lime green are stunning together as this photo shoot shows. This color combination is a great way to add a vibrant punch of color to your wedding. This centerpiece features a container wrapped with Equisetum and a lush display of green Spider Mums and spectacular hot pink Gloriosa Lilies.

This is once of my favorite design styles. I love to create arrangements that look like you have just picked up a chuck of the outdoors. In the case of this centerpiece the inspiration was a forest floor. I kept the color palette all green and played with a wide variety of foliage to create depth and dimension. To further enhance the rustic natural element the entire design was built around a lichen covered branch.

Reception Table Ideas photo shoot

We decided to pair up with Shannon at Chair Flair, a chair cover and decor rental company, and created a fabulous photo shoot. We focused on the most popular color trends we are seeing right now and had a great time. Stephanie Moore Photography once again captured all the great shots.

Edgy and Teal photo shoot

Alexandra from Always Alexandra's Weddings had the idea to create a couple of looks for a fun photo shoot and we were thrilled when she asked us to create the flowers. The teal color palette was beautifully captured by Stephanie of Stephanie Moore Photography.

The second part of the photo shoot Alexandra chose another hot trendy color palette - Orange and Hot pink. Once again we had great fun creating the flowers and everything was beautifully captured by Stephanie of Stephanie Moore Photography.

Tropical Reception

We were asked to create a few dramatic floral pieces for a small wedding reception held in the Brides home. The Bride and her Fiance while celebrating their wedding in Canada, wanted the flowers to remind them and all their friends of their new home in Thailand.

alberta ballet home and garden tour 2011

Once again we were invited to participate in the Alberta Ballets' Home and Garden Tour Fundraiser. This year our floral creations accented a contemporary loft style home. The homeowner gave us free reign to create anything we thought would work in his space. We appreciated his trust and he loved our creative designs.

Wedding fair 2011

While this year we did not have a booth in the Wedding Fair, we provided the flowers for Terra Law at Inspired Occasions. We also created a piece for her show table as well. We loved both of these show stopping pieces. So dramatic.

Bridal Fantasy 2011

We participated in the Bridal Fantasy Show held at the Telus Convention Center. It was a great show and we enjoyed chatting with so many happy couples. We also created floral arrangements for It's All In The Details booth and Weddings By Laura's booth.

Engaged Events Holiday Party

Kaya from Engaged Events approached us to create the floral pieces for the Winter Wonderland Holiday Party she was planning.The color palette of turquoise, icy blues and whites completely transformed the venue.

Ali Velji Designs

We created a massive piece for Aly's display at the Fall Home and Interior Design Show. His theme - Modern Organic, I think this mass of lichen covered branches and white freesia was a perfect fit.

Alberta Fashion Week Fall 2010

Once again we created flowers for local fashion designer Ruby Ellen of Ruby Slipper Designs. We created a showstopping Rose Garland, an Orchid Purse and Bridal Pomador Ball amongst other things. A great show and a great designer.

Vibe 98.5 Virgin Launch Party

When local radio station, Vibe 98.5, changed to Virgin they threw a massive launch party with a sleek contemporary lounge feel. The color palette, red of course, to match Virgin's corporate colors.

Frit Fru Workshop

Frit Fru is a local Wedding Planner Company and once a year or so they host a DIY workshop. This year we donated number of fun and funky arrangements to compliment their table decor.

Alberta Fashion Week Spring 2010 - Ruby Ellen Designs

Our first Alberta Fashion Week paired up with Ruby Ellen of Ruby Slipper Designs. She had the ideas for the perfect flowers to compliment her designs..

Alberta Ballet Home and Garden Tour 2010

We created flowers for a photo shoot to promote the Alberta Ballet Home and Garden tour in June. The house was stunning and we merely accented some of the rooms with fresh flowers. We will create more design for the actual tour towards the end of June.
